The Season of 2nd Chances Begins

This holiday season is a Season of Second Chances, and Alfred’s story is a perfect example.

When Alfred arrived to Mutts in June, he was leaving behind an uncertain future at the shelter and getting ready to take on treatment for heartworm disease. Despite all he had stacked against him, he kept on smiling!

Because of generous donors like you, Alfred received the treatment and care he needed, and today he’s thriving in his adoptive home, now known as Hiccup.

Just last week, Hiccup was officially cleared of heartworm disease and finalized his adoption. Hiccup is healthy, adopted, and home for the holidays. 🩵
