Super Adoption Saturday Recap: 6 Happy Tails!

On Saturday, September 27th, over 15 local rescues and shelters came together for Super Adoption Saturday, presented by Petco Love—and what a day it was! We are thrilled to share that six dogs found their families at the event.

Two adoptions were especially meaningful:
Rocko, who had been in our care for an incredible 14 months, finally got his happy ending. His resilience and goofy charm stole the hearts of his new family, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Pecan, our sweet, playful pup who had been waiting over six months, also headed home with a loving family ready to give her all the care and attention she deserves.

These stories remind us why we do what we do—every adoption is a victory, and every wagging tail is a reason to celebrate.

But the work isn’t done yet. Canela, Evita, and Tia are still searching for their forever homes. Each of them is full of love, hope, and potential, just waiting for the right family to see them. Could it be you—or someone you know?
